Mitchell County Economic Development Commission is currently seeking to fill the Marketing & Administrative Assistant Position. This position assists the Mitchell County EDC director in implementing economic development activities, which foster, encourage, promote, assist or otherwise aid growth and development in Mitchell County. This position is 30 hrs/week with flexible hours, $18-22/hour, single health insurance, and IPERS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for MCEDC programs reporting, program material creation and maintenance, loan processing, invoicing, assisting a grant foundation, marketing materials, social media content, website maintenance and content, and overall administrative support to the organization. Candidates should be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.  Candidates should be proficient in social media, marketing tools, and Webflow.  Candidates should possess the ability to work unsupervised, be able to multi-task and possess strong communication skills in order to work well with various people and organizations across Mitchell County and the State of Iowa.
